According to the latest edition of the Times Higher Education (THE) the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM) has a high position in nine academic disciplines out of the eleven examined by the list for measuring university performance according to five indicators: citations, industrial income, international perspective, and research and teaching. In accordance with this classification in Business and Economics, the UCLM was placed among the top fifteen Spanish universities and among the top 500 in the world.
The UCLM ranks among the best in the world in nine academic disciplines in the latest edition of the Times Higher Education, ranking which measures the performance of universities according to five indicators (citations, industrial income, international perspective, research and teaching) in eleven areas: Arts and humanities, Business and Economics, Clinical and health, Computer Science, Education, Engineering, Law, Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Psychology and Social Sciences.
The UCLM obtained its best rank in Business and Economics (in the 9-14 range in Spain and 401-500 in the world). Worldwide, Education at the university is in a high position too which appears in the 18-29 range among Spanish universities. In the international category, the next highest classification is in Life Sciences (501-600), followed by Computer Science, Engineering and Physical Sciences (601-800). Arts and humanities appears above the 501 mark and Social Sciences and Clinical and health above 601.
Spain is the fourth country with the number of appearances in the list, only behind the United States (1,499), the United Kingdom (758) and China (513).
