On Tuesday, November 19, we participated in the Webinar on Good Practices Related to Diversity in Museums, organized by the Network of Museums for Equality and moderated by Julia Cabrera. The director of MIDECIANT, Ana Navarrete, presented Territoires et Identités, which was selected along with four other projects:

The selected projects were:

1- Poliglotía Program, Valencian Institute of Modern Art (IVAM): It begins in 2021 as a collective and multidisciplinary creative process based on the various languages, cultural practices and experiences of its participants, and has since become a permanent program within the IVAM.

2- Territoires et Identités, International Museum of Electrography - Center for Innovation in Art and New Technologies (MIDECIANT): This project presents the work of 25 artists and groups from various countries that address these problems from various positions, but always from the consideration of the territory as a representation.

3- Afro/Black Thought, Practices and Activism Group, Museu d'Art Contemporani de Barcelona (MACBA): Initiative that aims to make visible and reflect on artistic, theoretical and activist practices linked to Afro-descendant and black communities, both in the local and global context.

4- PLURI-IDENTITATS, Museu Universitat d’Alacant (MUA): Call for visual arts designed with the aim of becoming a space for contemporary artistic creation linked to issues of identity in its broadest sense: gender identity, sexual diversity, emotional-sexual orientation, etc.

5- Situated Voices, National Museum Centre of Art Reina Sofía (MNCARS): With an assembly format, the Situated Voices program of the Reina Sofía Museum proposes non-hierarchical spaces for reflection and debate in which to generate, based on situated experiences, collective knowledge in connection with the debates of the present.
